GREAT NEWS for our 2012 CUSTOMERS!!!

The Tax Credit Extenders Act (as a part of the Fiscal Cliff Legislation) was passed January 1, 2013.  This Act renewed the Federal Energy Tax Credit and has made the Tax Credit RETROACTIVELY available.   Homeowners may possibly be able to claim the credit if they had a qualifying home improvement performed on their residence in 2012.  We are currently going through all of our customer projects from 2012 and will forward the necessary information and forms to  you if your project qualifies.  If any questions, please call our office.  Here are the details of the Federal Energy Tax Credit below:

  • All ENERGY STAR qualified windows & doors.
  • Credit of 10% up to $ 200 on Windows.
  • Credit of 10% up to $ 500 on Doors.
  • Credit of 10% up to $ 500 on Insulation.
  • Installation Labor Costs NOT eligible.
  • Total Credit can not exceed $ 500.
  • Lifetime $ 500 Tax Credit Limit; 2006 – 2012.

This Tax Credit has also been extended through December 31, 2013!  So if you can not or have not claimed the maximum amount in 2012; you could claim the remaining balance with another Project in 2013!  Give us a call today!
